Budah come through for the Canadians
BEATS 1ST PLACE RANGERS
28 year old Slovakian Peter Budaj gave the Montreal Canadiens solid, steady goaltending Sunday night making 28 saves in a 4-1 victory over the NHL's first place New York Rangers. It was Budaj's first game in a month and only his sixth of the season.
Backing up Carey Price, one of the top goalies in the league, is no easy job. However, Peter manages to stay sharp by being a very hard worker. He is always the first on and last off the ice for practices. That attitude and approach have enabled him to stay ready when called upon and has also gained the favour of his teammates.
