Three Jon Elkin's Goalie Schools' proteges posted shutouts this past weekend.
Peter Budaj of the Colorado Avalanche stopped 26 shots in a 1-0 win over Nashville Saturday night. He was named the game's first star and the NHL's Second Star of the Night.
Trevor Cann, Colorado's second round draft pick, earned a 2-0 shutout in his second game with his new team, the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League. He made 24 stops against the Mississauga St. Michaels Majors. Cann is enjoying an exceptional season thus far exemplified by his stunning .931 save percentage.

Finally, Neil Conway made 34 saves in a 5-0 victory for his Oshawa Generals over the Barrie Colts in OHL action Sunday. He has provided solid goaltending that was desperately needed. On Friday he helped to beat the Kitchener Rangers by stopping 39 shots in a 5-3 win. It was only his third game of the season after watching mainly from the stands. Always one to stay positive and work hard, he was ready for his chance and delivered exceptional goaltending over the weekend.
