Jeremy Smith Records Second Shutout in a Row

Plymouth Whalers' goalie Jeremy Smith recorded his second shutout in as many games with a 37 save performance last night. The Whalers beat the visiting Mississauga St. Mikes Majors 3-0. Another Jon Elkin's Goalie Schools student, Anthony Greico made 33 saves in the loss.

Raycroft Earns Shutout

Andrew Raycroft was sensational last night in a 3-0 win over the Buffalo Sabres. "Rayzor" helped keep things even by making 15 saves in the first period including a spectacular diving save on a rebound with a minute left in the first frame. He went on to stop all 30 shots he faced.
