Dunn Earns NCAA Scholarship

Jon Elkin's Goalie Schools student Dann Dunn accepted an offer to play for St. Cloud State next season. The 18 year old from Oshawa, Ontario had a terrific season for the Wellington Dukes of the OPJHL (Junior A Tier II). He led his team to the league finals.

The 6'4.5" goaltender ranked 1st in the league for the regular season in save percentage (.934) and second in goals against average (1.94). He is also on the NHL Central Scouting's Final Rankings for the NHL Draft in June.

Canada Wins Again

Trevor Cann stopped 27 shots in a 5-2 win over Russia today helping Canada earn a semi-final berth this Friday.

Cann/Canada Beats U.S.A.

Team Canada defeated Team U.S.A. yesterday 3-2 in a shootout at the World Under 18 Championships. Canada´s Trevor Cann stopped 44 of 46 shots in regulation and overtime and 4 out of 5 in the shootout.

Cann Wins 1st U18 Match

Trevor Cann is playing for Team Canada's Under 18 Team in the World Under 18 Championships in Finland this month.

The first game was played last night and Canada defeated Germany 7-3.

Budaj NHL 1st Star for March

Colorado Avalanche goalie Peter Budaj was named the NHL's first star for the month of March. Peter played 13 games during the month recording a 2.24 GAA and a .910 SP.
