Danny Taylor, a Los Angeles Kings prospect, got called up to the National Hockey League today after posting another shutout Wednesday night. Taylor plays for the Los Angeles Kings' AHL team, the Manchester Monarchs.
He made 31 saves in a 2-0 win last night for his fourth shutout of the season and was named the AHL's Third Star of the Night.
The 21 year old resident of Kingston, Ontario has put up great numbers this season in the AHL: a 2.40 goals against average and a .921 save percentage.
