Two Jon Elkin's Goalie Schools students walked away with championship hardware recently. Although they both served in a back-up capacity, it is nevertheless a great honor to be part of a winning team: Andy Chiodo, a starter all season was traded to another team as insurance for their playoff run. It turns out it was a smart trade as his new team, Karpat, won the Finnish Elite League Champioship.
Chris Carrozzi, was named to Canada's Under 18 Team after a fine season in the OHL with the Mississauga St. Michaels Majors. The team went undefeated in the tournament held in Russia and Chris flew back to Canada with a gold medal.
Congrats to both!
