Jeremy Smith was named to the USA World Junior Hockey Team today. The team will compete over the Christmas Break for the world junior title.
The Brownstown, Michigan native plays for the Plymouth Whalers of the OHL. Smith, drafted in the second round last year by the Nashville Predators, presently leads the OHL with a .931 save percentage.
Jeremy was the recipient of USA Hockey's 2007 Goaltender of the Year Award.
