Missiaen Goalie of the Week
Jason Missiaen won the ECHL Goalie of the Week award for the past week. Signed by the New York Rangers in the off-season, Jason is in his first year of pro hockey. The 21 year old from Chatham, Ontario went 3-0-0 with a 1.62 GAA and a .948 save percentage last week. The 6'8" Missiaen played for the Peterborough Petes of the OHL for three seasons where he was tutored by Jon Elkin.
Another runner up for the award was another Jon Elkin's Goalie Schools student, Chris Carrozzi who is property of the Winnipeg Jets. Chris was 2-0-0 with a 1.51 GAA and a save percentage of .951.
