MURRAY SETS AHL RECORD
Matt Murray's stellar rookie pro season is now one for the record books. On Sunday, he set an all-time record for the most consecutive minutes without relinquishing a goal - 304! That included 4 straight shutouts and one goal scored with just over a minute left in the fifth game. Matt is coming off of a very successful OHL season with the Sault St. Marie Greyhounds. He was the OHL Goalie of the Year runner up.
Murray has a league leading 9 shutouts this season and also leads the AHL in save percentage (.940) and goals against average (1.57).
He is the reigning AHL PLayer of the Week.
