Bryan Pitton posted a 49 save shutout in triple overtime for Stockton against Idaho Wednesday night for a do or die ECHL playoff win.
After beginning the season in the East Coast hockey League, Pitton had spent the majority of his time since Christmas between the Edmonton Oilers and their AHL squad in Springfield. With both the Oilers' and Springfield's seasons complete, Bryan was shipped back down to Stockton for the playoffs. Last night was the first game in which he saw action.
