38 SAVE SHUTOUT FOR SMITH

Mike Smith won his 5th game in a row with the Phoenix Coyotes Saturday defeating the highly skilled Chicago Blackhawks 3-0. It was Mike's third shutout of the year and 14th of his career. Smitty made 38 saves and was the game's 1st star.

MIke has been one of the three stars in each of the 5 games stopping 151 of the 157 shots he faced; good for a .962 save percentage.

In OHL action, Jordan Binnington continued to roll as well, getting a 31 save shutout for his Owen Sound Attack and receiving the match's 3rd star. The game wasn't quite as close as Smitty's. The Attack trounced the Peterborough Petes 12-0.
