Smith, Cann Top NHL List
Jeremy Smith of the Plymouth Whalers (OHL) and Trevor Cann of the Peterborough Petes (OHL) were named the first and second ranked goaltending prospects for the 2007 NHL draft. NHL Central Scoutings final rankings also included two other Jon Elkin's Goalie Schools students.

Smith is presently in the OHL finals with his Plymouth Whalers team. Cann just finished playing for Canada in the World Under 18 Championships. Canada lost
4-3 in a shootout against the U.S. in the semi-finals. Cann was very good stopping 41 of 44 shots in regulation and overtime before succumbing in the shootout.
